A good start for Guilin Daewoo
Sales of Jan. 2007, continued the vigorous trend of the 4th quarter of 2006, increased by 112.7% compare to that of 2006.
In 2006, Guilin Daewoo adjusted its products structure to suit the market needs and gained remarkable effect. 10 design platforms and 47 new products were completed during the last year. Now the product spectrum covered passenger coach, tourist coach, city bus and others.
The success of various tourist coaches putting into market has overturned the disadvantages in tourism market. At the same time, there was a breakthrough on city bus market. Besides the 350 buses sold to Shanghai, more than 100 city buses has been serviced in cities of Guangxi province. Guilin Daewoo buses were highly praised when serviced for China-ASEAN EXPO meetings.
